If a woman does the same work and has the same skills as a man, she should earn the same pay. That’s basic fairness.
But that’s not the reality in America. Three years ago today, our Federal elected officials passed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to expand the rights of women who have been discriminated against.
Elections matter: this important law was stalled however did pass. Our efforts must be constant
